Spring Fever!

If you like nice weather and good snow, then Snow Summit is the place to be because we’ve got plenty of both! Come up this weekend and enjoy more fun in the sun and take advantage of our great spring conditions. Our coverage is very good, nearly every run is open, and we have the deepest snow pack in SoCal. Springtime in Big Bear is all about the fun, laid-back vibe, which you’ll get everywhere here from the runs to the deck at the Slopeside Pub.  If you want to call it a day early and just enjoy some après-ski drinks, then turn in your lift ticket by 1pm to get a voucher for up to $15 to put towards your next lift ticket with our Half-Day Getaway.

Christmas Is A Wrap

Santa’s big day may be over but we still have gifts for you. It’s snowing and so far we have received a couple inches of fresh snow and more is expected throughout the day! Today Chair 4 opens accessing Exhibition! A perfect lift to catch shorter lines and fun groomers! You can also expect changes coming to the park over the next few days.

Here at Bear Mountain we love giving a really awesome gift! Which is why we give to all of you a jam-packed, fun, and exciting park with the largest beginner area in So Cal. Because we think the best gift of all is the gift to ride! So come shred with us at The Scene, Riglet Park, The Red Bull Plaza, and all of our open runs for some holiday cheer! We’ve had a great opening week so far, but we made sure to save plenty of snow for you Weekend Warriors! Chair 1 is a great place to start your season, accessing a stacked park along Expressway, The Gulch and Lower Park Run. Chair 7 is also open accessing Inspiration run for beginners. Today’s forecast is partly sunny with a slight chance of isolated showers, but we know a little weather won’t bother you die-hards

Summit Sunday

Bring your family, bring your friends, or just bring yourself to Snow Summit and let’s ski and ride! The snow coverage is excellent with full-width runs and a solid snow base . Enjoy clear blue skies today with temps in the mid 40′s. There is a chance of fresh snowfall tomorrow so Think Snow and enjoy.

Friday’s Park Report

Happy Friday! We have KROQ on the deck this afternoon spicing up your Friday fun. With a forecast of 46 and sunny, it looks like it’s going to be a nice day for some Apre Ski action on the deck. Be sure to get some good riding in first though; there is a lot going on here with many different parks to check out. Start the day off on Chair 6 with some warm-up features in the Skill Builder Par and cruise over to Central Park, where we have the Superpipe, Halfpipe, a bunch of jibs, and some fun jumps
