SoCal’s only open ski resorts are Snow Summit and Bear Mountain. How are we the last ones standing? Thanks to our incredible top of the line snowmaking system a nearly inexhaustible water supply from Big Bear Lake, we are able to build up the deepest base during winter months, which then allows us to enjoy the snow into April.

Snow Summit and Bear Mountain now have 10 lifts available serving the most open terrain in So Cal! Chair 1 at Snow Summit is open accessing Miracle Mile top-to-bottom. Chair 2 is open accessing Summit run top-to-bottom. Chair 3 is open serving both Upper Westridge and ZZYZX and Chairs 4 and 8 are open accessing the Bear Bottom Beginner Area. This weekend’s snow storm left 28 to 32 inches of fresh powder in its wake and blue skies are forecast for the rest of the week! The packed powder and powder conditions are the best they’ve been all season long. That’s 430 acres of beginner, intermediate, and advanced terrain and all the park features you can handle.
