Winter weather is on it way to Big Bear with up to 8 inches expected though this evening and into tomorrow morning. Here at the Bike Park and Scenic Sky Chair, we are waiting to see what weather comes with this storm brings before we can determine whether we will be open this weekend for hiking and mountain biking

It’s a March miracle! This storm brought 20 to 24 inches of new snow and the snow is expected to continue throughout the day. It’s a beautiful scene outside today; the mountain is caked with powder, the town is glistening in white, and spirits are at an ultimate high

Old Man Winter stopped in Monday, bringing us 2-3 inches of natural snow. The cold, dry weather has been great for snowmaking the past couple of nights and to top it all off, we’re expecting another storm to roll through today, bringing us even more fresh snow.
