Checking In Wednesday Morning

Updated as of 11/30 at 12:00pm The forecast is showing today as our last spring-like day.  A Santa Ana is on its way in, which should bring us some cool, dry weather; perfect for snowmaking tonight through Friday.  Tomorrow’s high is forecast at 33. We love winter : ) We have new Bear Mountain team rider Brandon Hobush in town as well.

Two Mountains, One Lift Ticket

Snow Summit and Bear Mountain are open for skiing and snowboarding with up to 7 lifts available,  47 jibs and jumps, and several of our most favorite runs. We’re in great shape with a one to two foot base and the snow coverage is very good. Clear blue skies are forecast through Wednesday with a slight chance of snow on Thursday into Friday then the weather clears up again for another sunny weekend. Check out our Snow Report for today’s open lifts and runs. Work out your dual mountain lift ticket and head over to Bear Mountain to check out the 100 foot rail, Analog spaceship, wall-ride, c-box and Pole am to butter pad to stair case and more

Thanksgiving Holiday On The Snow

Indulge this Thanksgiving! Enjoy that turkey dinner, yummy side dishes and desert too! Then come  ski and snowboard with us to burn off those extra calories and have fun doing it. The snow coverage is very good, the depth is 1 to 2 feet and we have 5 lifts available today accessing Miracle Mile top-to bottom, upper Summit run, Bear Botttom beginner area, upper Westridge, ZZYZX and Ego Trip. Park run is open at Bear Mountain with 41 terrain features

Fresh SNOWmaking

We had a good night of snowmaking last night and we’ll continue making snow as conditions permit. Miracle Mile, upper Summit run and the Bear bottom beginner area are open however; chair 3 accessing upper Westridge, ZZYZX and Ego Trip is on stand-by this morning due to snowmaking.

Forecast Update

This morning’s two inches of fresh snowfall was followed by some light rain however; this storm is clearing out now leaving partly sunny skies. We’re in great shape with a one to two foot base and the snow coverage is very good.
