In honor of the President’s Day Holiday tomorrow Snow Summit will host another one of our popular night sessions tonight stretching our day to over 13 hours of skiing and riding today. Hearts, Flowers, and Cuddles on the Chairlift

Valentine’s Day is a day to celebrate love or is it a ploy by oppressive chocolate companies to sell more candy? We don’t know which one is the truth, but we do know that there’s nothing like spending Valentine’s Day on slopes for a completely different kind of date. Valentine’s Day night session starts at 3 pm today, featuring a night of skiing or snowboarding under the stars and cuddly chairlift rides.

This morning, we want to salute the dads that take time off from their busy schedule to take the kids for a mid-week day in the mountains. There’s the occasional whiny, “It’s cold, dad” or “my boots are too tight.” They’re your kids, not the top performers at your work so you smile through the whining with understanding and patience. Besides, we have some amazing instructors who will bring a smile to their faces.

We were able to fire up the snowmaking system for several hours last night. Our groomers were out resurfacing the entire resort as well.
