Today We Put the “Snow” in Snow Summit!

It’s mid-day here at Snow Summit and it’s panning out to be quite a day! We’ve already received 6-8 inches of snow and it’s looking like more weather will still be heading our way this afternoon! With the weather blessing us with natural snowfall our surface condition is currently fresh powder and packed powder! You can rest assured that if you join us this weekend you will be riding on the best conditions of the year thus far! When traveling through the mountains this weekend be sure to keep up with our Snow Report for all the latest road conditions. Currently Early Season Rates are in effect until December 20th, so now is the time to get on the slopes and save! Make a weekend adventure in the mountains part of your plan!

Black Friday? We’re Skiing and Riding at Snow Summit Resort…

The snow pants might feel a little tighter this morning but don’t let that stop you from hitting the slopes on what looks to be a beautiful day! Today also marks the first day of riding at Bear Mountain ! Conditions as we open this morning will be similar to what we found yesterday which is a machine groomed surface of hard packed snow which will soften quickly as the day rolls on.

Suns Out

Suns out buns out, suns out guns out, however you like to say it, the sun is out which makes it a perfect day to have some fun on the slopes! Have a nice refreshing drink at the Slopeside Pub, why…because it’s the weekend. If you have a season pass to another resort that has closed for the season, bring your season pass from that resort to Guest Services and you will receive 50{86a76636585b48f02440ccb40b57522402481bd6218148effe1f42093324df81} off a lift ticket for that day! This lets you spend the money you saved on a lift ticket to treat yourself at the Slopeside Pub. It’s all making sense, so we better be seeing you today out on the slopes!

Winter is Finally Here!

It’s the beginning of March and spring is only a few weeks away but don’t tell Mother Nature that! She thinks it’s the middle of winter and we’re not complaining! The most recent storm system brought us 8-11 inches of snow over the past 48 hours and today will be one of the best days of the season on the slopes.

Last night we received about a half inch of new snow to blanket our slopes and the forecast predicts it will keep snowing till around 11:00 am today!
