Thanks to a solid 8 hour snowmaking run late Christmas night our conditions have recently improved. We have plenty of terrain available for all types of skiers and snowboarders looking to spend some time on the slopes this holiday break. From steeps on the east side to terrain parks on the west side Snow Summit has something to offer you and your family.

Snowy Week Ahead!
We’re gearing up for a snowy week here at Snow Summit and you know what that means…POWDER!!! Wax your skis or snowboard and get up here soon for the best skiing and riding of the season! With excellent coverage and 100{86a76636585b48f02440ccb40b57522402481bd6218148effe1f42093324df81} open terrain at both Snow Summit and Bear Mountain life doesn’t get much better than this! Not only are the runs in tip-top condition but so is Westridge! With 35 Jibs and 50 Snow Features there is something for everyone including a step-down rail, double box, wall ride, and an all-new down bar that Park Staff is calling Chubs. This morning is sunny, but the storm is predicted to move in today with the majority of snow coming in tonight. It should start to clear up Thursdays for mostly sunny skies on Friday. You can follow the forecast HERE! Chair 1 is closed for maintenance today however Chair 2 is open accessing the entire mountain.

The sun is out this morning and skies are clearing. There is still a chance of some scattered showers and snow levels are forecast to drop so we could see a little fresh snow Sunday and Monday.

Early Season Steezin’
With temperatures cooling off and smaller crowds during the week the park is holding up nicely! Chair 7 is still open with some skill builder features that are great for beginners. While Chair 1 is laced up with park features for all levels! There’s a chance of rain in this morning’s forecast, but we know a little wet weather won’t bother you diehards!

Fresh Snowfall!
Last night’s fast moving storm left behind a fresh 1.5 inches of snowfall this morning and clear blue skies! Temperatures are in the thirties today then warming up to the fifties by this weekend. At Big Bear Mountain Resorts you get two mountains with just one ticket.
