Plenty of Beginner Features!

December 14, 2013 By Bear Bear Ski and Board Rentals

Bear Mountain has the largest beginners area in SoCal and believe it or not the majority of our features are built for beginners! A smaller jib or jump can provide the feel of riding like the pros without risking it all. For some of our beginner features check out one of our Skill Builder Parks. Skill Builder Park zones are located on Amusement Park and Easy Street

Snowmaking Continues

December 5, 2013 By Bear Bear Ski and Board Rentals

This current storm system brought with us some seriously chilly temperatures and while that is AWESOME for snowmaking its pretty cold up on the mountain. Today’s high will be around 32 degrees so layer up and grab a bloody mary at the Beach Bar to keep warm! If these temperatures continue we will be able to keep making snow and will be able to open even more runs soon! This weekend we will be at the Los Angeles Convention Center for Ski Dazzle. We will have season passes on sale with a show special of $30 off plus a FREE buddy ticket to bring a friend along

Jump Line on 9!

January 16, 2013 By Bear Bear Ski and Board Rentals

Yes, there are now TWO jumps at the bottom of park run that are big, floaty, and fun! This cooler weather has provided excellent conditions and allowed us to do some serious snowmaking all week! More snow means more features! Top rail has been reset to a nice tall position again making a sweet double rail line with TEX. Chair 5 has some really fun intermediate features including some smaller jumps, jibs, hips, and both halfpipes! The Scene is legit right now with a wide spread of features for all levels beginners to experts.

Bear Mountain has officially opened! If this early park setup is an example of the way this season is going to go, then we are all in for an awesome year! The Park Staff went above and beyond to have an all new and fully loaded park right from the start. We have set the bar high here in So
