Spring Fever!
If you like nice weather and good snow, then Snow Summit is the place to be because we’ve got plenty of both! Come up this weekend and enjoy more fun in the sun and take advantage of our great spring conditions. Our coverage is very good, nearly every run is open, and we have the deepest snow pack in SoCal. Springtime in Big Bear is all about the fun, laid-back vibe, which you’ll get everywhere here from the runs to the deck at the Slopeside Pub. If you want to call it a day early and just enjoy some après-ski drinks, then turn in your lift ticket by 1pm to get a voucher for up to $15 to put towards your next lift ticket with our Half-Day Getaway.

Today may be the official first day of spring, but we’ve been enjoying amazing spring conditions all week long here at Snow Summit! The sun is out and nearly all runs are open for the best skiing and snowboarding in SoCal.

Grand Re-Opening Today!
Chair 1 accessing Miracle Mile top-to-bottom and Upper Summit run and Chair 8 accessing Bear Bottom beginner area are open ! We have had a few great days of snowmaking and we received 2 inches of light snow last night along with 7-9 inches of snow on Thursday. With continued snowmaking; we could open several more of your favorite runs over the next few days. Take a look of the Map of Open Runs

Get ready for another fun day on the slopes! Today’s forecast is sunny with a high of 60 degrees. We’ve got Chair 1 open accessing Miracle Mile top-to-bottom as well as Chair 8 accessing Bear Bottom Beginner Area. More lifts and runs will open as snowmaking resumes.

Snow Summit is Open
We had a great opening day yesterday and are looking forward to a fun first weekend of skiing and snowboarding! Chair 1 accessing Miracle Mile top-to-bottom , Chair 2 accessing Upper Summit Run, Chair 3 accessing Upper Westridge, Zzyzx and Ego Trip, and Chair 8 accessing the Bear Bottom Beginner Area are all open. Put your Dual Mountain Lift Ticket to use today and take the free inter-moutain shuttle over to Bear Mountain for Chair 9/Park Run , which is open top-to-bottom and stacked with features. Chair 7 accessing Inspiration also opens today. In honor of Veterans Day, we are offering FREE lift tickets to all active duty military, veterans, and retirees with proper ID. This deal is offered at our Guest Services office.
