With such a significant drop in temps from last week, we’re taking advantage of the snowmaking window and pumping it out at every opportunity. We kept it on all night last night and will turn it back on as soon as conditions are just right. Today we’re looking at sunny skies again with a high of only 52 and a surface that ranges from machine groomed packed powder to hard pack.

The holidays are here and the mountain is in excellent shape. With so much snow to work with we’ve been able to set up nearly 150 features with jibs and jumps of every size. We have several different parks each unique from the other. The Skill Builder Parks on Chair 6 are for anyone looking to step into park riding

Yesterday’s storm sat over us all day yesterday and all night long too leaving a total of 14-16 inches of new snow! On top of all of that, we have been making snow around the clock.

Updated as of 11/30 at 12:00pm The forecast is showing today as our last spring-like day. A Santa Ana is on its way in, which should bring us some cool, dry weather; perfect for snowmaking tonight through Friday. Tomorrow’s high is forecast at 33. We love winter : ) We have new Bear Mountain team rider Brandon Hobush in town as well.

Indulge this Thanksgiving! Enjoy that turkey dinner, yummy side dishes and desert too! Then come ski and snowboard with us to burn off those extra calories and have fun doing it. The snow coverage is very good, the depth is 1 to 2 feet and we have 5 lifts available today accessing Miracle Mile top-to bottom, upper Summit run, Bear Botttom beginner area, upper Westridge, ZZYZX and Ego Trip. Park run is open at Bear Mountain with 41 terrain features
