Makin’ Snow

Yup that’s right! We plan on making snow as early as tonight and we expect some natural snow too! Temperatures are dropping and we expect to make snow all weekend long and into next week so we could all be riding the white stuff soon. Stay tuned for Opening Day information.

Don’t worry all you shred-aholics; winter 2012-13 is right around the corner! We’re working hard to get things ready and just like you, we’re itching to strap in. Be on the lookout for some new additions that will help make this season your best one yet! The revamped Red Bull Plaza transforms Powder Bowl into a downtown epicenter, with bigger and better features that will challenge the best of them. Freestyle Camp at the Park is the place to be if you’re new to jumps and jibs or are looking to improve

This Week on the Snow

April 9, 2012 By Bear Bear Ski and Board Rentals

Come enjoy spring skiing and riding this week at Snow Summit. We are expected to remain open with complete services for the entire family, including snow sports school and all levels of terrain, through at least April 15th. Bear Mountain is expected to keep chair 9 open accessing Park Run top-to-bottom, Central Park, the Superpipe and the Halfpipe through at least April 15h.

Happy Spring!

That 28-32 inches of fresh snow over the weekend was nothing short of amazing, but now we’re kicking off Spring with that classic SoCal weather we all love. Skies are sunny and highs are in the 50′s all week long, and today’s packed powder will make for some of the best skiing and riding conditions of the season! Bust out the sunblock and your favorite shades and get going. Our operating hours are 9am-4pm for all day and 12-4 for half-day
