We cool down a couple degrees from yesterday with a high of 49, but we’re still looking at clear blue sunny skies. The weather has been great and the vibe has been following suite. You really have to go out of your way to be bummed out on days like these; the blanket of blue surrounded by a mess of smiling faces really demonstrates a stress-free atmosphere. Leave all the mubo-jumbo of the day to day at home when you come visit us at Bear. We want you to relax, have fun, and take a little time to worry about yourself and what makes you happy.

Got snow? We do, and plenty of it! Despite the lack of snow in other California regions, Big Bear Mountain Resorts has been fortunate with snowmaking and early season snowfalls providing snow depths of 1-3 feet, very good snow coverage and nearly 100{86a76636585b48f02440ccb40b57522402481bd6218148effe1f42093324df81} open runs- that’s almost 438 rideable acres! Beat the heat and head up here to Bear where we have been making snow recent nights and the snow conditions are better than you might think. While the weather has been relatively mild at the valleys and beaches, we have been making snow the past couple of nights up here in Big Bear and the snow conditions are better than you might think.

We have nearly 100{86a76636585b48f02440ccb40b57522402481bd6218148effe1f42093324df81} of runs open, very good coverage and the deepest snow base in California. Today is sunny with a high of 66, so bust out those sweatshirts and sunglasses, and don’t forget the sunblock! Remember that your lift ticket is also good at Bear Mountain, so hop on the free shuttle and check out The People’s Park.
