Friday’s Forecast

March 2, 2012 By Bear Bear Ski and Board Rentals

We’re looking at another day of excellent mid-winter conditions! We have a high of 39 degrees today and the forecast is showing one of those bright yellow circles surrounded by nothing but blue; so we wear your sunscreen kids. This week’s new snow makes for a great park now.

Happy March!

March 1, 2012 By Bear Bear Ski and Board Rentals

What an amazing week it’s been! We got to take turns in 10-14 inches of fresh powder on Tuesday and we enjoyed amazing packed powder conditions yesterday. Today is expected to be just as great, with beautiful blue skies lasting through the weekend. There’s plenty of snow and even more fun for all, so if you haven’t gotten your skiing or riding fix yet this season, now is definitely the time.

Another BIG Weekend!

February 24, 2012 By Bear Bear Ski and Board Rentals

We have another big one in store for you this weekend! You’ve had to hear about the War of Rails event that we’ve been hyping up… It’s Southern California’s biggest freestyle skiing event, and if you saw The Scene this morning, you can see why. The Am contest starts this afternoon around 12:30, and the big boy pros start putting on a show tomorrow at 11:30 am.

Extended Weekend!

February 20, 2012 By Bear Bear Ski and Board Rentals

Happy Presidents’ Day! Not only did they establish our country, but they gave us an extra day this weekend to enjoy these excellent mid-winter conditions! And boy are the conditions good. We have had a solid season thanks to our state of the art snowmaking equipment, but mother nature decided to hook us up with some of the natural stuff last week. Perfect timing on her part! Granted, we would have appreciated a few more visits, but we can’t complain about 19 inches of snow last week and a bluebird weekend

More Snow in Forecast

February 15, 2012 By Bear Bear Ski and Board Rentals

Good day friends! Hope some of you got to enjoy the fresh snow yesterday, but if not, the forecast is calling for some more today. They’re saying we could get a few inches, so let’s think snow! We’ve also had snowmaking on the past couple of nights and the packed powder conditions are great.
